Inhaled asbestos particles cause mesothelioma, which is a cancer of unique nature. Normally, three categories of people, asbestos workers employed in production of asbestos or its application, people residing in areas near asbestos mines and family members of such workers are the most affected by this deadly menace which appears unheralded and unforeseen.

Even though asbestos had been touted as a wonder material capable of withstanding chemical reactions, heat and had best insulation qualities of all materials available, it has the deadly quality of infecting the mesothelium, the protecting lining of vital organs like lungs, heart, abdomen etc. The workers handling asbestos are forced to inhale the airborne fibers of the mineral in ample quantities for prolonged periods. The intruding particles infect the mesothelium and cause its cells to malfunction. The deadly infection being caused by no fault of their own, all mesothelioma patients are entitled by law to seek compensation from those responsible by filing mesothelioma claims.

The government enacted many laws to alleviate the sufferings of those unlucky enough to get caught up in the quagmire of mesothelioma cancer in the form of monetary support. In addition, stringent security steps have been stipulated to be followed at asbestos mines and factories. Mesothelioma claims have been instrumental in extracting compensation from responsible defendants for their transgressions.

Malignant pleural mesothelioma is the most common form of mesothelioma, which is a cancer affecting the mesothelium. Only around 3000 total mesothelioma cases are reported a year in the United States and the pleural form accounts for three-fourths of it. It affects the pleura, which is the lining that protects the lungs. The pleura is constructed with two membranous layers to shores up the lungs and shields the lung cavity. While the outer layer guards the chest cavity and diaphragm, the inner one called the visceral layer encompasses the lungs. Pleural mesothelioma usually attacks one of these layers initially but may spread to the other layer too. The cancer is invariably caused by the asbestos particles trapped in the spaces available between mesothelium cells after being inhaled.

The trapped asbestos particles trigger some chemical reactions resulting in the mesothelium cells to divide in an abnormal manner. This results in the pleural layers thickening and cause a certain fluid build up, called the pleural effusion. The excess fluid compresses the lungs and hinders easy breathing. Persistent dry cough, blood emission while coughing, difficulties with swallowing, breath shortness, unnatural weight loss, fatigue, lump formation around the chest etc are the most visible symptoms of mesothelioma attack.

One of the more aggressive and destructive forms of cancer is neuroendocrine carcinoma of colon. The worst part of this disease is that more often than not it is detected late into the advanced stages at which time it is more difficult to make treatments.

As the symptoms of neuroendocrine colon cancer take form only in the most advanced stages the chances of survival drops at an alarming rate. The polyps or tumours of the colon are always malignant, and mostly detected with distant metastases. In several surveys, the reports have revealed that most of the cases of neuroendocrine cancer end with the death of the patient.

Although the possibilities of neuroendocrine carcinoma in colon are very rare, if one is affected the health of the patient becomes worse than those who are suffering from adenocarcinoma.

Research reveals that the end results of this form of cancer stay the same with age, sex or tumour location. However, neuroendocrine colon carcinoma will depend heavily on the tumour’s stage. Standard cases have revealed that people in stage 1 and 2 of cancer usually do not suffer from neuroendocrine colon cancer. On the other hand, in several cases, if the tumour is in stage 3 or 4, it is a laborious and hard task the neuroendocrine colon carcinoma.

Mesothelioma, the cancer of mesothelium, occurs in three forms, namely, pleural, peritoneal and pericardial. The infection occurs due to exposure to asbestos particles for long periods and is one of the most serious forms of cancer. Normally, mesothelioma symptom comes up and the infection is detected only at developed stages and this factor alone is responsible for most mesothelioma deaths.

Only an experienced medical practitioner can detect the exact type of cancer, since the symptoms for all three types are mostly similar. Wrong diagnosis often proves fatal as it further delays the treatment. Shortness of breath, difficulty in swallowing, hoarseness, building up of extra fluid between the pleura, pain in chest, abdomen, shoulder or arm, tiredness, fever, loss of weight and appetite are the symptoms of pleural mesothelioma.

Depending of the seriousness of the disease, the symptoms may vary from person to person. About 90% of the patients experience chest pain and shortness of breath, 84% suffer pleural effusion and less than 30% bear weight loss. It should also be noted that around 3% of the patients remain without any symptoms.

There are several ways in which to seek out if your partner is dishonest on you. The signs are in general apparent, it is just the person who is being cheated on that refuses to accept the truth. Several times your significant other will begin to act suspiciously, principally after they desire to go out. They might commence to act a little more nicer than customary.

They might also get angry simpler and more often. Your partner may also be touchy around you. This might cause added arguments and disagreements in your relationship. Things you do may infuriate your husband or wife. They might actually go as far as to leave the room. Be sure to view the changes in actions that your spouse has towards alternative members of your family unit as well.

They aspire to purchase a full new wardrobe, in a way, reinventing themselves. This works in conjunction with joining a gym to lose weight. An enormous indication of immoral behaviour is when a new attire is purchased and when more skin is being exposed.

Asbestosis mesothelioma is a work related lung disease like the mesothelioma cancer. It affects the parenchyma tissue of the lungs. Over exposure to asbestos is the reason behind the disease. Here the parenchymal tissues permanently remain sore and irritable as a result of which dyspnea or shortness of breath occurs. There is increased possibility of contracting lung cancer also. In this case plaque would form above the diaphragm due to over exposure to asbestos. This will be revealed in X-ray tests.

The initial symptom of asbestosis mesothelioma is breathing difficulties and seriously affected persons may witness total respiratory failure. The disease usually does not show up before ten years after asbestos exposure. But there are documented cases where the ailment became visible after just three months. There are two types of asbestos particles, namely, amphibole, which are thin and straight, and serpentine, which is curved. It is the former that creates asbestosis because it can penetrate deep into the lungs through inhalation and scar lung tissues around terminal bronchioles and alveolar ducts.

For an asbestos lawyer mesothelioma is the main disease claimed for although other medical problems can also be caused by the same chemical. The phrase “asbestos disease” is taken to mean mesothelioma, as this disease is usually caused by either direct or indirect exposure to this chemical. Legal professionals help patients claim against employers who exposed them to the chemical, and the amounts received can sometimes by very large, occasionally exceeding tens of millions of dollars.

Since some lawyers will often take on asbestos related cases on a “no win no fee” basis, it need not cost anything initially to get legal help in obtaining a settlement for mesothelioma. Also, since settlements are usually completed before the final court case, the person suffering from asbestos disease will rarely have to actually appear in court.

It is of course a good idea to find the very best legal help for such cases. There are legal professionals who specialize in these cases in most US states although it can sometimes be worth working with those out of state, some of whom will handle cases in any US state. Other countries such as UK, Canada and Australia also provide relevant legal help for such cases.

Mesothelioma is a type of cancer that is 99% attributable to a person’s having been exposed to asbestos. It could be that you had a job years ago in which you were exposed but won’t begin to show symptoms until 20 to 50 years later. Occasionally a case will be diagnosed in less than 20 years, but that isn’t the norm. You may not even realize you were exposed to asbestos, and the initial symptoms can be as general as chest or back pain. Anyone who was working prior to the mid 1970s needs to explore the possibility that he or she could have been exposed to asbestos. If this is the case for you, then you’ll need to watch out for the development of lung cancer for the rest of your life.

In cases of Mesothelioma, cancer cells can develop in the lining surrounding the lungs, inside the ribcage, and around the organs in the abdomen. It’s possible that even limited exposure to asbestos, like in the home, could result in Mesothelioma, but usually people who were exposed for longer periods of time are more susceptible. You may not even realize that you were exposed. A lot of employers back then withheld the information about asbestos exposure from their employees. For example, if you worked in construction one summer, you might have been exposed. It’s also very common for people who were in the Navy prior to the mid 70s to develop Mesothelioma.

If you discover a black, cancerous mass on a birch, you may be looking at a Siberian chaga mushroom. It can also, less commonly, be found growing ash, beech, elm or hornbeam.

Eurasians have used it for centuries to treat tuberculosis, digestion, and cancers of the heart and liver. [121]

The black “skin” was removed and the lighter inside boiled as tea. Being such a compact natural medicine made it a valuable, portable remedy for healers of old.

Modern research on chaga has mainly focused on its potential application as an anti-cancer remedy. In Russia, this usage was already approved as early as 1955 to treat lung, stomach, breast and cervical cancers. [122]

One modern study from 1998 showed that chaga extract did in fact inhibit growth of cervical cancer cell lines under lab conditions. [123] Another study from 1995 reported that an isolate of the active compound betulin first inhibited growth of melanoma cells in a lab, and then killed them. [124, 25]

Other research papers also confirm that some of the active compounds of chaga help retard the growth of cancer cells. [125, 126]
